in 2024 Merriott Bowls Club finished runners up in the Wessex Cup. The annual Wessex league & cup presentations were made at a 4 course dinner at South Petherton bowling club, where 48 guests enjoyed both the dinner & afterwards the awards of the trophies. Our club captain Ryan Self is seen in receipt of the Wessex cup runners up trophy, for which Merriott have won 5 times & been runners up 7 times.
