30 members of Merriott Bowls Club have just returned from a 10 day tour to Spain. The trip included five bowls matches against local clubs, and five days of free time for sightseeing and exploring the local area.
All the greens in that part of Spain are artificial surface, with most being carpet and one had a grass effect.
We stayed in a very comfortable hotel with good food and facilities including a covered and heated outdoor pool.
