Whilst promoting the club at the recent Merriott Showcase event we met Linda Mitchell who told us that in July 2008, while the new clubhouse was being built, the local primary school brought the children to bury a time capsule. The photo above shows Leo Banning aged 5 and Will Lewis burying the capsule.
Fortunately with the clubhouse still standing the capsule must still be in place for future generations to find, and has not been lost.
