Congratulations to Dave White and his partner on winning the Club Pairs competition on a very sunny May Day. Twelve teams of mixed pairs competed in two ‘divisions’ with teams selected by a non playing selector.
In each division every team had to play every other team, with the winners of each division playing each other in the final. Barbara English and Jeff Legg won one division and Dave White and his partner the other.
In a very closely fought final the Dave White team came out victors by just one point.
