Tuesday 16th April saw the official green opening for 2024, with Club Captain Ryan Self bowling the first bowl of the season.
A selection of club members and guests attended during the afternoon using four rinks and enjoying the sunshine.
In the unofficial ‘Green Opening Trophy’ match Merriott B closely beat Merriott A for the honours!
All members that attended commented on the excellent condition of the green, which bowled extremely well especially with it’s first use and drying sun and breeze.
